Tragedy has struck the Nigerian entertainment industry
following reports that popular Nollywood actor Alex Ekubo has died at the age
of 40 after battling an undisclosed illness.
According to a report , the actor passed away
due to complications arising from the illness. His reported death has thrown
family members, friends, colleagues, and fans into mourning, with many
expressing shock and profound sadness over the development.
Ekubo was widely celebrated in Nollywood for his
outstanding performances in several blockbuster movies and was regarded as one
of the prominent faces of contemporary Nigerian cinema.
